Island Recycling is delighted to announce it has officially started its tyre shredding service for the Cayman Islands Government. The processing of approx 500,000 tyres on the George Town landfill is anticipated to last for just under one year, with all recycled tyre product being used on Cayman as tyre derived aggregate (TDA) on various construction and development projects.
